About the event
In this 4 day reatreat we are going to enjoy classical asana work as well as paying special attention to the subtle body.
We start the mornings in beautiful nature with a meditative walk in silence followed by an hour of pranayama practice. Pranayama is discribed to be the fourth limb of the eightfold path of yoga and translated either as "the control of breath" or "the expansion of breath". Prana is the Sanskrit term for the vital life force and energy that runs through our bodies and that holds all things together. Prana makes things move and grow and vitalizes our mind. The practice of pranayama can help to increase this vital life energy in our bodies and balances the nervoussystem. There will be a lot of time to dive deep and explore different breath practices and becoming more aware of the subtle energies of the pranic body. The seated work is followed by a playful and flowy asana practice where we move and sweat and experiment together.
After the deliscious brunch there will be time to explore the beautiful mountain region in a guided or single afternoon hike before we meet again for dancing meditation and musically accompanied, creative movement research. Once the physical body got its attention and jollies we transition again into the depth of the pranic movements and finish the day with another pranayama and meditation practice.

There is no need of having lots of experience in the practice of mediation and pranayama, we will work on different approaches and there will be room for your questions and answers. If you join the movement classes it is recommended to have basic knowlege in Asana. It is also possible to only praticipate in the meditation and pranayama classes.
The retreat will begin at 3.30pm Thursday July 30th and End at 12noon Sunday August 2nd 2020.

Cost of the retreat is based on a sliding scale of 350-500 CHF. Please offer whatever you can comfortably afford in that range. Thank you kindly.
Cost of room and board varies slightly (from 339 to 468 CHF for the entire retreat):
Shared Room with Sink, (shared WC/shower on floor) 113.- CHF per person/day
Single Room with sink, (shared WC/shower on floor) 133.- CHF per person/day
Double Room with shower/WC in the room 136.- CHF per person/day
Single Room with WC/Shower in the room 156.- CHF per person/day
The range of cost for the entire retreat is from 689 to 968 CHF.
Included in the prices are
• 3 overnight stays in the selected room category

Booking and further terms

A non-refundable/non-transferable deposit of CHF 300.- per person is required at the moment of booking to secure the space.
The remainder is due on July 20, 2020. Cancellations after July 20, 2020 won’t be refunded.
A minimum of 8 participants is needed for the retreat to take place.
The hike is weather dependent. Changes in the daily schedule may apply.
Insurance is your own responsibility. We recommend a travel insurance including coverage of cancellation costs and travel incidents.
The facilitator/the teacher shall not be held liable for any damage to, or loss of, property or injury to persons. The participant waives any claim against the company/the teacher for any such loss, damage, injury, or death.
